He seems so far away
i don't know why when i know He can take ALL my fears away
and will also light the rest of the way

its really hard to explain this pain
when i know He is the only one that can fully take it away
i know its not ever going to be the same
when all i can do is live with this hurt and pain
i'm always scared of the next day
but sinking in the thought that i cant take it away

i pray and pray
but still feel the same
and there is not one way i can explain
i'v just had enough of people saying it will be ok
the pain is real
the pain i feel
i can not fix it
i can not ditch it
am i always going to feel this way???

Oh no, i mean like i don't feel him hearing me when i pray! hard to explain! I love Him i just have a hard time talking to Him and seeking Him...hope you understand :S

There are many who question whether or not they are being 'heard' by God when it often seems that prayers aren't answered~

At times like this is when one must call their faith into play ... faith that knows He listens, He hears ... doesn't mean our prayers are always answered the way we might like them to be ... but in His own time He will send the comfort that we need~

I understand this one emphatically~

FreeSpirit, I really enjoyed reading your poem.
I think we all have wondered if God has listened
to our prayers before. We just have to remember that He
answers in the way He sees fit and sometimes we
may not understand....especially in the midst of
whatever is happening. As Marge said, that's when
our Faith has to take over for us.
