I am stuck in this spot
not knowing what's going on
I keep trying to get out
but I don't know where to go
how can I run away
if I don't know where I am?
don't want to be here
don't know how to leave
it's like an endless stream
of unanswerable questions
a map with no destinations
I don't know if my eyes
are open or closed
am I deaf or just hearing things?
is someone with me or am I alone?
anger, torment, sadness and rage
someone pay the ransom
or could I just escape?
am I even being held captive
or could I walk right out the door?
I scream out loud
I beg, I plea
but no one comes to my rescue
because everyone is trapped like me
they're trapped in realization

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

Wow. It is very imaginative. The perspective, I mean. I think that sometimes we all can be prisoners of our mind. Very well written.
