Wake up wake up is what I still scream
Cause this all has to be a very bad dream

My heart is truly acking
And to peaces it is breaking
Cause I see you lying there
Lying With your fake empty stare
I prayed for god just to let you be
And all the pain he should’ve given to me
But now truly it is all to late
Cause you just gave in to all there hate

So wake up wake up is what I still scream
Cause this all just has to be a very bad dream

Now Into the church I do walk
Not ever even daring to talk
My eyes quickly fill with tears
As I realize all your fears
Why didn’t I see why wasn’t I there
If only I could have shown I truly did care

So wake up wake up is what I will scream
Cause this all just has to be a very bad dream

And now I treasure the laughs and our games
Still I know it will never be the same
But in my heart I see your face
And promise nothing will ever take its place

So wake up wake up is what I still scream
Cause this all just has to be a very bad dream

But dream or not I learned a great lesson
On that day
When I saw the box
Were you lay
Never again
Will I not have my phone
Never again
Will I not be home
Never again
Will I miss a friend’s cry
And never again will a friend of mine die

A very sad, but well written piece.

Welcome to pip, dude. You'll enjoy it here, especially with work like this.

this hit home for me....maybe not in the same way as most people, but i just had someone really close to me die....they just went to sleep...and never woke up. and this...it just got me.

I ask why, but in my mind,
I find i cant really rely on myself.

This is very sad but many a situation like this. If this is based on your life. I am truly sorry. I do know what it feels like for someone extremely close to you to die.

Great job
