I dreamed a good dream
A little while ago
We were sum how in the perfect park
Holding hands walkn really slow
I pointed out a withered rose whose thorns were still attached
I saw the beauty in this flower although it wasn’t visible
The many years of pain and sufferings the flower had to endure
Made me stop and kneel down by this plant and pray
As I sent my words up to the sky
I realized how much the rose and I were alike
I feel your arms wrap around me slowly consoling me
I found beauty in sumthing that was withered and worn
And in thinking of me I asked do you think I’m beautiful?
You tell me I will always be beautiful as long as I live
You say that my heart is pure and my ways are kind
That the way I love and talk is so heavenly divine
You say I love unconditionally and trust whole heartedly
Jus sitting here right now is making him want me
He said that my beauty jus isnt skin deep
He said he simply loves me for just bn me
My beauty is the truth, it flows thru and all around me he said.
Jus as his lips touched mine I awoke from this wondrous dream
Only to be back n my dark cold room, wishn for this dream
