II.

Things fade to a midnight hue
   as i lay      yearning
to belong         to you
  the way i once did
          held
close to the bosom of your heart     and soul
          cherished
a brilliant memory     of an awesome connection
          shared
by two souls     now seperated
          ended
but never over
          never
to fade          to a midnight hue

"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light"
-Dylan Thomas

a good write,
"but never over never to fade to a midnight hue"
a strangely satisfying ending
good job
