Everything seems so right,
but in my heart it's not.
When I look at you I see a friend.
I want to like you,
but I'm finding it so hard to do that.
I don't want to hurt you again,
You are my friend.
I understand if you hate me.
I probably would also.
You won't talk to me when you find this out.
So you'll try and make me feel bad.
But I want you to no,
That I really did like you,
but that feeling is gone.

If this is true to life, this is a tough situation. You shouldn't feel ashamed about your feelings, however. I hope it works out, thanks for posting.

Love's a lovely lad
His bringing up is beauty
Who loves him not is mad
For I must pay him duty

the emotions are there, but the style didnt catch me... i think it needs a little work but it totally has potential. thanks for sharing, and keep it up!
