I continue to fight myself in this world,
Almost lost faith and left myself in a hearse,
Just ordinary man trying to make in this life,
It’s hard sometimes to wake up and face the day,
But I keep trying, one day I can make the change,
Promise myself as I walk out the gate,

This focus got me lost,
In it I draw plans to make the changes,
But I forget to realize,
That I haven’t rise,
From the ghetto that is my mind,
Got to find the line to take me out this game,

Don’t want this to escalate and stuck in this state,
One day I snap and wake up tied to a bed,
Only to feel sorry for letting the chances go,
That makes me realize these lies,

No second Pac will rise,
He gave me the strength,
To fight the destruction,
Be my own savior,
And save other human beings,

Somebody sleeps on the streets tonight,
Knowing that my heart opens wide,
And my eyes shed the tears,
Fear that one day that could be me,

I can only take one day at time,
And then continue to fight,
Win this race before it has me laced-
Out in the street, filled with slugs of hypocrisy,

Want to continue to grow,
And never accept no,
No matter how much pain I gain,
No shame now, just try it again,

Fame and fortune are for the stars,
I was born under ordinary circumstance,
My mind gets me going,
Thinking thoughts about having a hot lady,
But I never get my day,
Knowing that this aint reality,

I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality.
