A Few Words For Us The sun will rise, the sun will fall And through you eyes, I’ve seen it all Both tears of joy, and tears of sorrow You’ll cry today, but laugh tomorrow For when we talk, or just sit still Or vow never to again, but know we will We climb a mountain, that’s far to steep But I made a promise, I intend to keep To hold a place, inside my heart A place to end, or a place to start For you and I, and not one more To commemorate the past, and what’s in store Though I lost your love, I kept a friend To travel the road, that has no end Here’s to what we were, and who we’ll be May your future be as bright, as I foresee No matter where you go, remember one thing Pick the right man, to give you that ring |
