Yellow paper, jagged edges
Hold the words that I confess
Thoughts parachute down
Creating such as mess

Scattered visions, they don’t know how
To land smoothly on the ground
I lie awake, every night
While they all take flight
Not knowing where they’ll come down

It could be veins or arteries
Or simply me at my home.
Cellos playing Wheel of Fortune,
Or me inside a biodome

I could take this as a sign
Or just dance in big black boots
And watch Parliament parachute
Through my mind, through my mind
