Past, Present, Future Tense

What shall beauty bleed?
A rose without thorn and
smile without frown.
You are an evening sunset among
the dark night of the soul.

Princess, steal me away
under cover of early light.
May perfection always cast such shadows
and allow unspoken fears to relac
for our moments slow together.

Envelope my hand in
the softest of answers.
nearly a tear in the eye of God,
So tomorrow blurs into today
and clocks have one hand: neither hour, minute, nor second.

Time can be relative if
we forget our places to go
and the issues that demand.
Darling, here's one last song,
A goodnight toast and cheer for you:

"Fall asleep listening
to me grow.
Our bodies are all too new.
Don't you wake till
the crows and
the Sun floats as a balloon.
Farewell to this ocean."
