Don’t Break My Heart Again

Don’t let it begin,
Another error to my heart,
I can’t bear to think of the pain,
If your actions made us part.

Please don’t hurt me twice,
With the same mistake as before,
You know I’d do anything for you,
Don’t challenge that even more.

Please don’t drag me along,
Pretending we will be.
I don’t think my heart could take
Another broken me.

Long conversations reread,
The cute little messages received,
All leave my heart longing for you,
Please don’t leave me deceived.

I can’t take anymore deception,
In all the messages you send.
You hurt me once, I can’t take it twice,
Don’t break my heart again.

Hey Sweetheart,
Very powerful and emotional write like always. I know how you feel going back for more just to end up with a heart broken into more pieces really hurts and I hope it doesnt happen to such a great girl like yourself. I know one thing though is that I lived near you you wouldnt have to worry about your heart breaking because we both know i wouldn't let that happen to you.
