I wish there was a song for...
the broken hearted
to reassure them that tomorrow will come
that today laying on your bed will not be your last
your heart will mend once again
and all the the pain that you feel will leave
that your one true soulmate is still out there
searching for you
to love you, to hold your hand
to whisper in your ear
"I am sorry i didn't come fast enough"

I wish there was a song for...
the ones who want to give up
To challenge them to keep on fighting
that soon, one day everything will be okay
that this life will get better
Right now everything is going wrong
everyone feels that
but if you give up
who will know your story
who will feel the impact of your love and life
you are worth so much more
then right now you can ever grasp
you are needed and wanted

I wish there was a song for...
...me
a song to tell me
Mal, you are amazing
you are needed and wanted
you are special and loved
something is out there for you
someone to hold you and never let you go
to whisper in your ear
"I am sorry I am late,
I will make it up to you"
to tell me to look at each new day
and find joy and happiness
because someone is finding it in me
and one day i will really find it
one day everything will be okay
one day all of the pain i have gone through
all of the broken hearts I have had
will cease to exsist
I wish that song exsisted

let it all out:get it all out remove it: don't be alarmed: when the wound begins to bleed

Hey Mal,
This is the first poem I have read of yours and I thought it was awesome!! I think we all feel that there should be a song like that because I know I wish that for thats kind of a situation I am also in. As far this part of the poem "a song to tell me
Mal, you are amazing
you are needed and wanted
you are special and loved
something is out there for you
someone to hold you and never let you go
to whisper in your ear...and so on let me the first to say you probably are all those things and then some if you ever need a friend to talk and open up to dont be afraid to come to me!! If you want to contact me my aol screen name is chrissccr18 and my email adress is soccerplayer4life04@hotmail.com!! Don't be bashful and i cant wait to read some more of your work!!

What a lovely poem! There is such a song...it's the one your heart sings, the one whose harmony your soulmate is playing...
Take care,
Lizzie.

If I could fall asleep tonight
you know I’d dream of you

Hmm... *pulls out a notepad*  ...... no.... no good... dosen't work... no... Gah!  *pulls out hair*  I'm sorry Mal, but my limited lyrical ability just won't cut it.  lol!  All kidding aside, however, I really feel what your saying.  I think there is a song like that for everyone.  It's just different for each person.  It may sound cheesy, but think, haven't you ever had a moment where you were listening to the radio while your spirits were down, and a song came a long that touched the core of you so deeply, that you couldn't help but crack a smile?  Or am I just really weird?  :-P   Either way, deffinately worth pondering.  As is this beautiful piece of work to which I'm applying.  Adiu!
