closing my eyes,
your voice envelopes me,
in the dark.
grinning so wide,
my face might crack in half.
your voice is soft and beautiful,
i want to wrap it around me forever,
like a cherished baby blanket,
i need it to stay warm.
when you say my name,
weariness fades,
i can't help but trust you.

"Be who you want and do what you will, in the end those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." -Dr Suess- (a brilliant man)

yes I know this feeling quite well...I have one of my own who does that to me. This was a lovely piece of poetry and very softly spoken just as the title portrays, it brought me a sense of peacefullness. Well done, beautiful write.
