Huddling in the dark

0 posted 2004-10-26 08:57 PM

Alone in this room
so dark and so cold
trying to find a door
to somewhere new
everydoor leads to yet another room
with only one way out
that leads to an endless cycle
of rooms and doors
that are black and cold
I will only ask the darkness one thing
that if I am to stay here
than at least let me be able to find peace here.

Great writing, you've expressed wonderfully the feeling of loneliness, being trapped and the feeling of desolation in so few word. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Such emotion in this poem...I especially liked the ending.
