wensedays are the worst days

the man kept calling me sweet heart,
as he poured me a glass of water in a paper cup.
They intended to help, but they didn't know, how I would cry on my walk back up.
Cause I smiled then, but they saw my red eyes.

And the phrase sweet heart was echoing in my head.
I wore sunglasses all day, but to most it didn't look that bright.
But you see, I am just entering a dark room that held my hope. and my monster turned on the light.
It is ugly. It is the ugliest thing I have ever seen.
My world slipped away and I watched from behind tinted glasses.
And they speak to me consolingly and tell me to stay.
But they don't see how staying here would be the death of me.
All my second chances turned there backs to me.
and all the eyes I'm reading, turn gray.
and all the love I feel for them, can't save me now.
no, they fade to white.

Wow. I really don't know what to say about this one, that would get across how much I love it. Amazing, heartfelt, expressive, beautiful.
This is definetly going in my library.
