A child? Are we ready? How long till we can handle what life throws? When will be on our feet and on our own? And happy? So young, and growing up so fast Do you ever wonder if was fate? Could it be the Powers That Be? Is there ever a question in your mind? At times I find myself scared Unsure whether or not you will leave me I've done some much to hurt you in the past Yet you stayed I try to look before I leap To think before I speak To stop before I hurt someone It is hard Feeling so alone So unloved I just want some comfort To be needed, to be wanted You are my life and my world I am becasue of you I want you to see me try To see I really care for you Blessed Be Those Who |
