in the pouring rain

she lies there
underneath the stars
praying that it rains
to disguise her tears
hide her pain
somewhere inbetween the drops
so they may grace her lips
make them shimmer
with the innocence she wished she'd lost
her screams cannot be heard
gripping the air
to hold on
for just one more minute
so she won't die just yet
in her hands she has a picture
been worn out by forever
she falls into nothing
as the rain washes away
the last few lines
of his face

no matter what i'll always love you
i swear

Wow. This is so powerful! I love this, so much. It really touched me, not one line was out of place.
I especially love the end.
Thanks for sharing. This is going in my library.

oh, this was so sad...

I loved it...at first i wasnt sure about it, in the beggining, but it turned out to be a beautiful write.

The ending was what did it for me, i think.
