Walking down a stricken hallway of
troublesome stares, and undeleted fears,
unhappy eyes, a place where fairy tales end.
The faster I walk, the quicker I near,
what I don't expect, can't ever mend.
styles of every kind live in this place,
I can see unhappiness written all over your face.
I don't know what to say to make you feel better,
sometimes it helps to write yourself a letter.
Explain to you what's going on, and what you need,
what you long for, and why you sometimes make
yourself bleed.
can't open your mouth with out saying the wrong thing,
can't keep to yourself, can't bring yourself to change.
time to go kill yourself, it's the new trend,
why can't you listen to you, and not a so called friend?
You're never gonna know when you're gonna get beat up,
How can you trust the world, after it blows up?
People are hiding themselves inside a fake skin,
acting like they don't know the trouble their in.
No one will ever be able to change,
this world I live in today.
They walk around with a blank stare,
not noticing the girl that needs help, she's in a wheelchair.
This is one of the toughest times,
The "cool" thing is to commit a crime.
I'm looking into your unhappy eyes,
while you try to tell me you're happy and alive.
you gotta start listening to yourself,
realize you're telling lies, and you need help.
you need someone to pull you out of yourself.
It sure is a small small world,
the way everyone is the same, turned down.
I dread this lifestyle everyday, in this town,
there's no where to fit in, to go, to live.
All the people here is someone's kid,
must be hard not knowing how to talk to them.
how to listen to what they're not saying,
and how to take care of what they said.
All this history comes from this stricken hallway,
Only thing is, this isn't the past, this is today.
All the blank stares are adding up,
Everyone looks so depressed, so cupped.
Walking down a stricken hallway of
troublesome stares, and undeleted fears.

Wow. This is so so incredibly powerful.
I can feel all the emotion you put into this.
Hope things get better soon.
Thanks for sharing.

Counting stars wishing I was ok,
Crashing down was my biggest mistake.

I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh, but I never knew looking back on the laughter would make me cry.
