A promotion of a yellow product, perhaps we shall call it sunshine in a capsule, perhaps we shall call it nothing at all. There are no connectors, then again, no resistors; we are all willing recipients. I am floored at the mention of a scandal, picking granite from between my teeth. I am made of steel, so I guess that makes you weak. How easily it slips from the narrow line, which has become your lips. Some have stated in their boredom, things that have cost them their lives, But no one knows just where I hide my bodies, or how I sing them lullabies. Notes weave in and out of the holes I poke in this brittle air, Layered with thick lines of the deceased. But no one knows all the corners and tugs and pulls of my smile. Rubber bands snap on automatic, a promotion of a perfect product |

hey, this was really trippy, it took me twice reading it. i don't understand the whole promotion of a product, but then again i never was good at the deep type of symbol-y poetry. i question what the hell this piece means even as i really like it, and some of it reminds me of like...darker lyrics from bands and whatnot. nicely done, thanks for confusing me. bergundy "Be who you want and do what you will, in the end those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." -Dr Suess- (a brilliant man) |
