here's my new lyrics, tell me what you think

A Half Past Sundown

The moon is drunk with the sun
Just waiting to sober in the morn,
And like a stream's faded uhm
It sinks in the coming storm.

The stars are desperate for friends
Among the bruised in the sky,
And blue never looked odd to them,
Us who please all those brown eyes.

But heaven is lost
When we unleash this hell.
Forgetting the cost
And how many times we fell.

So bleak among the meek that stand
When all around stare at the ground,
But you fight on.
Bloodied by the white eyed hand
That screamed when the fight grew loud,
But you stay strong.

But heaven is lost
When we unleash this hell.
Forgetting the cost
And how many times we fell.
Our crowns cast low
From these unworthy brows,
Put aside what we know
And bleed from our mouths.

now im alone, but not lonely like before

well, I'm in an acoustic band. We are kinda emo, but at the same time we have a lot of more poppy stuff. We are pretty unique.

Thats cool! I have been asked to play bass in a band once. I turned them down cause I dont know how to play bass, yet. Your band sounds very interesting, lol. But I'm sure you are probably pretty good. Keep up the writing!
