I don't always quite know why
but the pain
just won't seem to go away
when I don't know
where it's coming from
I have a tendency
to make it appear
with each drop of blood
I feel more pain
is going away
seeping out of my body
drop by drop
I become addicted
to the color red
I have a need
too see the pain
crying out
for something that's real
something I can feel undeniably
not wondering whether it's true
trusting only in myself
feeling only my feelings
I'm in a world
affecting only myself
nobody affecting me
deeper and deeper the pain comes
deeper and deeper it hurts
as I grow in
my addiction to red

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.
