Sanguine Eyes And Glasses

With smoking eyes inhaling smoking barrels, my mind
Discovers nothing the portress has not planted, things
That only tingling skin can understand, my kind
Lives for the pleasure of another drowned dream, they scream
In tones of beauty, in thoughts of luxury, in time
The lights will fade and we realize loneliness, it’s me.

With pleading lies looking for bleeding cries, my hand
Shivers when the photos catch my vision, still smile
In a way that makes my blood slow and die, you can
Bring out a tear that I never knew was there, and bile
Always comes to my mouth with your name, so bland
And sanguineous in color, stay awhile.

Wow...this is alot different than the other poetry in this forum.

I liked it, unlike alot of the poem I've written and read, it made me really think about what I was reading.  I had a harder time understanding it but that's because I'm pretty much an ammeture poet.  I really liked your descriptions, it brought alot of imagery. One that stood out to me was
"bile
Always comes to my mouth with your name, so bland
And sanguineous in color, stay awhile."
I had to read the poem a couple times though, cause it had alot of words that I didn't know (lol) but I figured them out according to the others beatiful words.  I really liked this, it's different than the other poems, more mature I guess. Keep it up!

"If ever you think of me out of the blue, just remember it's all the kisses I've blown in the air finally catching up with you!"

First off, cool picture, it's always fun to attach a face with the writing.

Moving on.. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, thank you for your attempts at reviving this forum, at producing amazing amidst our generation's rants.  It is refreshing to read your writing, not only because you are talented, but also because your style is unlike that typically found among teenagers. You never cease to amaze and surprise me, and it's not an easy task.

I want to pick out a part of this that is my favorite, a part that I enjoy the most, but that would actually be the entire poem, so...

I enjoy your use of language, the flow of this was very nice.  The title, actually, is what drew me in. Congratulations on another exciting write.
