I wish I could halt
end this now, stop caring for you, like you have stopped caring for me.
But I've been a girl up onto this point devoted to kissing your callaused hands.
For all the stardust that has fallen a top your scalp, you do not glow like you imagine you do.
You are safe in this, I suppose.

For all the instability and franticness in your kiss, this I do not need.
I felt your doubt rage through me.

You are assured of nothing, although you mock understanding and stature.
Now you stand in a heap of a man,
and throw your words, to turn your hands over and over,
unsatified.

There is much to be bought, and forsaken...
for now I turn my gaze, though all my sweetness never can turn bitter.
You will cry and turn your hands over and over
and create castles and giants out of this thick air.
May be when you meet a single thought,
then I'll follow you there.
