Whats the world coming to
what am I supposed to do
how do I hide the fact
that I'm still in love with you

Months ago I said goodbye
I was so ready to believe that lie
Now I'm just sitting here
asking myself why

I can't undo the things I did
but love like this isn't meant to be hid
I can't keep thoughts of you away
the memories are just too vivid

Maybe magic or a time machine
could take back the words I didn't mean
everything happens for a reason
but the reason for this is yet to be seen

God please show me the way
give me the words I need to say
to get her heart back
for this is what I pray
