Walk With God

Take what you want from this folks.  I know what I meant when I wrote it but I want all of you to find your own motivation and inspiration within my words.  I hope you all enjoy.

We walk on the rooftops of hell,
     gazing down on all the flowers.
A bud that blossoms with such
     beauty, grace, and power.
Innocent and alone
     so content in its existance.
For it to was kissed by God
     and given perseverance.
Close your eyes, open your hearts
     if there's a will there's a way.
Embrace the meaning of these words
     for that's what the flower would say.
So walk along that rooftop,
     and realize it may be tough.
And know that even on the best of days
     things may very well suck.
So when you're ready to give up,
     then suddenly you feel a gust of wind.
Know that it's God's whisper,
     telling you it's not the end.

i'm basically against organized religion, but even i'll admit this poem was cool. i guess you using the word 'suck' might of taken away from some of the seriousness, but then again, this is a teen forum and that's obviously your audience. dunno, i guess i analyze things too much...the ending was damn cool though.
