Stellar Plea

Stars, brilliant stars.
I speak to you again.
She left me scars.
I believe I've lost a friend.

In my plea to make my love known
I've destroyed what already existed.
In my desparation I've shown.
Things better left unsaid.

Stars, I just want it back the way it was before.
Do you have the power to do that?
Even if I have to hold in my love forevermore.
I'd gladly do it just to have her back.

Why, oh why does she avoid me?
I know I can forsake this thing called love.
I told her so but maybe she doesn't see
That it's something I can get rid of

Who am I kidding?
I can't get her back,
But I'll keep hoping, stars,
That maybe you could bring her back.

Those who live by the sword, get shot by those who don't.
