Okay, tell me what you think but please be gentle ... haha. I haven't written in a long time and this just came to me after I took a nap.

You screamed in ecstasy
From the pain I felt
Enjoy the destruction of myself
A circus I am not
Show tricks to fool everyone
But you cannot hide
In you shadow of disguise
I am you clown
You are the ringmaster
Control the would around me
Memories consumed with pain
You cannot hide from me
Rub salt on every wound
Satisfied from my screams
The useless fights
To protect myself
You walk away
Smile to youself and say
"Do not hide from the truth
For they are the only ones
That can save you"
Every truth has been every lie
Surrounded by empitness
Call Death upon you
For all you bring is pain
But I cannot
For suddenly I understand
You are Death

Glad you decided to start postin again. I like this one a lot. I usually get my best poems after wakiing up from a nap too, or else right before i go to bed. Awesome poem.
