                   Passify
           Give up the wasted life
                  Intensify
          Freely given but takes time
                   Realize
         Compared though always denied
                  Simplify
           Lose meaning held inside

                  Penetrate
         Unfomfortable, painful truth
                  Permeate
             Uneven, harsh fruit
                 Deliberate
             Ignore all but a few
                 Emancipate
             Freedom long overdue

                  Empathy
          Understanding the unknown
                  Sympathy
             Trusted patch sewn
                  Apathy
            Little emotion shown
                Indifferently
           Only scornful pity shown

it's not related to the movie at all. in fact i wrote and titled it before the movie came out. i haven't seen the movie so i don't even know if it applies in any way.
