This Plastic Dream

Sleep seduces me with whispers
Thile I try to faithfully stay true tonight.
It's perfume is so strong and so stirs
Thoughts that I denied access to in the light.
I can't help but give in to this lov*r,
The one who quietly stays true even in silence.
Embracing this as a baby to its mother,
I'll escape the day's unprofound         .
Goodnight sweet, restful bed,
You may live to see me ded.

So I dream, dream in technicolor pictures,
Moving slowly enough to understand nothing.
I see the forgotten failures of my nature
Turn to plastic bags full of some anything.
Goldfish memories never glimmer so bright
As in those plastic bags won by future failing.
But I empty the bags of their memory mites
And hide them from constant, wakeful wailing.
After reliving rejection even in my sleep,
I am ready to leave all of it in wal-mart sacks.
Resting my eyes is no excuse to not weep,
I want to clear them of redness and roll them back.
Breathing deeo into this bag of yellow-faced smiles
And praying to God for more plant air to gather,
I imagine the suic*de of a dream for a long while,
Just one of those thoughts you think never matter.
Wake this quiet sleeper;
I, the tired weeper.

I awake to find a bag smiling at me,
The same one dreamt up by sickly minds.
Rubber bands keep the smiles from getting free
And locked doors stay me from being an easy find
The dream met reality and married it soon into courtship
So it could create dangers to desperate reactors.
Strangely sad loves have acquired my heart's lordship
And inserted those hard and difficult factors.
My yellow eyes end the rest of the dying
And finally they clear and roll behind.
I've never found this Danse Macabre to be lying,
But at least I will be recognized by my own desperate kind.
Goodnight light fight,
Goodmorning endless night.
Plastic dreams,
Rubber seams,
Tired things,
And Nether means.
I dreamt what's never seen
And did what i never mean.
Emotions die with fears...
...Welcome new, joyful years...

now im alone, but not lonely like before

well, I wish I had your vision...that's my primary setback when I try to write anymore.
As delightfully picturesque and nicely pieced together, it seemed like you're a bit detached from it or what it was about.  I suppose that's acutually a positive thing for you, though.  The less you care, the less it hurts...great job.

Jeremy

Be it in the truest form, or a desperate lack thereof, fail not to understand that the inspiration is love.
