From the crushing of the heart into plain dust
To the spreading of it's ashes over salt lakes;
Winter falls bring home the remains to my mouth
Just so i can relive the faded words written.

From my tears that freeze over my moistened eyes
To the way fresh sorrow slides over my ice-covered lids;
And listening to others screaming out thier sadness
So i can relate to them my insecurity found in you.

From the shimmer in you're eyes showing mirrored appearance
To the grin hung upside down on your solemn face;
Fears shine because of the glow that i cast inside out
Sharing these confused ideas with readers who never care enough.

From the way that i give you this ern to place my ashen heart in
To the way you cradle my head just before you peel my my mask away;
Take my hand and lead me to clear paths (I'm screaming for something)
On my own, don't leave me on my own, i've got no compass to guide me.

From the bleeding of my scraped knees (Sorry that i bled on you)
To the piercing of my mind with words spoken softly (I love you too!)
I cannot whisper these words any longer (They smolder in my mouth)
Please hold my tongue for me as you do my hand (I trip over myself for you)

now im alone, but not lonely like before

Alex~

you have such an amazing talent! I read your words often, and though I dont always leave a comment, I am always touched or in awe of your writing....

Kindly

You read before you words I write-
See before you my soul,
spinning on  waves of thought,
painting memories of time

I found the last line to be excellent. awesome in fact.
"Sharing these confused ideas with readers who never care enough." I know what you mean, I can share my poetry with my best friend or a stranger and I get the same reactions. And there's understanding, but there's something missing in the connection.
I loved this. As I love all your writing. It touches my soul. Not to sound corny.

I do have to admit that I adore your imagery.  It's refreshing to read your pieces, they are an original view of life.
