Never again will I see your happy smile, Nor will I feel your warm embrace, Your moody days have reached an end, But so have your happy ones. You’re gone now… You gave love so freely, And laughed with suck sincerity, Forgiveness seemed so hard for me, But you bore no grudges. You’re gone now… I cry for what I lost, I cry for what you’ll never see, I cry for what you never got, Always I’ll regret what could’ve been, For what should’ve been. You’re gone now… It’s not fair, Life’s not fair, You’ll never know how much you were loved, Or how much you’re missed. You’re gone now… As you watch from the afterlife, I bet you’ll always get the last laugh, We will never get yesterday back. You’re gone now… I often wish it had been me, You had such promise, A whole future to grow, much to young to take that journey on your own, You’re gone now… One day we’ll meet again, When we do I’ll make sure you know, How much you’re loved, missed, and wanted, We’ll never forget our Steven… Gone but not forgotten… |

i really like this...written good. i feel the same about my grnadfather and uncle which died exactly 3 months apart around new years. Does the term "cruel and unusual punishment" mean anything to you? |

Wow, i really loved this. It was soo... sad. It brought a tear to my eye. I am so sorry for your loss. I cant really erlate, becuase no one that close to me has died. Except my great uncle. He died when i was 6 or 7, all i remember is when they told me the first time. I didnt really understand, but i knew taht i wouldnt see him again fo a long time. When i think back though, it makes me sad that i didnt go to his funeral. Amazing write. I want a relationship i can finally sink my teeth into.~ Alexander Sterling |
