in the pouring rain

i've been writing songs for a little while now and this is the first song i have posted on here....see what cha think
verse one
someday i won't remember your name
nothing will be the same
when i finally let you go
and i just wanted you to know

chorus
baby i love you but you don't see me
i always knew sometime you would need me
but the times come to late
you've missed your chance
now its my turn
to run around and dance

verse 2
i'll listen to songs and drown my tears
deny that i told you my reckless fears
i'm tired of playing these stupid games
but everytime i close my eyes i see you saying my name

Pre Chorus
and i'm watching the lips i never kissed
and the boy i never had a chance with

End
and one day i'll surface
and it will all be worth it

(chorus)

*truth be told, you could slit my throat, and with my last breath, i would apologize for bleeding on your shirt

I absolutely love this!! When is it being released??!! Seriously, I could hear it being sung, it was just so right.
Thanks for sharing, my heart sang in raw empathy.

I loved this. I could hear it as a song in my head....

I can realy relate also. I feel that way about a freind of myne, that i liked for a while...we sort of have this connection, if that makes any sense...and then he turned around and went out with my best freinds, and that is when i decided to let it go...to let him go. Now, he likes me, and i refuse to go out with him...he hurt me way too bad for that.

Awesome song...and amazing poem.
