Try and Try again

I'm tired of feeling pain
Tired of this life
Living how I live

I'm sick of being hurt
I'm done with being used

When does this end?
When can I breathe?

I'm afraid to loose
And a bit scared to gain

I take one step forward
But I get pushed back
I end up where I started

I want to feel loved
I want to love someone

Instead memories haunt me
They trap me

I try to love
This demon swallows me whole
Incapable to love,to live,to breathe

As I start to feel again
Pain bumps me back down

So should I stop this effort?
Should I give in?

What does it matter anymore?
As soon as I love
I loose

You think I would have learned by now
You think I would just know

Instead I dive headfirst
Into this pool of dispair

Theres nothing left to loose
I've lost it all
So I try and try again

So I'm doomed for life
It's a never ending battle
Between me and fate
