I looked in the mirror and I cried tonight
Wishing to find the courage inside,
To be the woman I know I can be
Instead I've chosen to settle with me
I've turned into this mess
I cannot change
I want to be fearless
To fight this killing rage
I live a life I'm scared of
Fearing all I've shunned away
I want to grow and live to be
The woman hiding inside of me

thanks for the comments, it was one of those 'you gotta let it out' poems but i appreciate the fact that someone actually takes the time to read my work. thanks a lot!!

hey there ash!! This was a very emotional write for you and i can tell because like that everyone some point in time does cry in the front of a mirror but hide and dont express it like you did here. Keep up the good work and i look forward to talkin to you ok!!
