Tell me if your hurting
Please let me feel your pain.
Because I will never leave you standing
In the pouring rain.

When your world is clouded over...
When you don't know who to turn to...
Just cry those tears and come to me
For I am always gonna be here for you!

Lay your head on my shoulder,
Tell me all your troubles and fears.
I will listen to your stories,
And I will try to dry your tears.

So, when your world goes out of control
Your life no longer a straight line
You can come to me...I'll make you see
That everything will soon be fine.

Your life is what you make of it
So, do you have got to do
But remember this: when you don't think you can go on
I am and always will be there for someone like you!

ummm...it was cute. it didnt have a ny ground breaking thoughts or anything, but it was a solidly written poem.

This is without a doubt the sweetest poem that i have ever read. I know that with the guys that i have been with, i wanted them to say those words to me, but they never did, and i lost all faith in men, but this goes to show you that there still are sweet guys out there that acutally will take the time out to make a woman feel good about herself...i loved it and thanks so much for sharing it with us, i am really looking forward to reading more from you....well done!

That was a very good poem, it definitely made me feel better after reading it. It's romantic, easy to read, and a good rhyming pattern and rhythm. Keep it up!

i loved it but the only i dont like is the last line "I am and always will be there for someone like you!"
it would of sounded better if u just said "i am and always there for u"

Amen brother! Reminds me of myself (though I never had the... brass ones ... to put it in words. Until now, anyway, but you beat me to it, oh well. Very well felt out. awww... that's so cute. Hey i'm Kylie and Courtney is one of my good friends. I just need you to know, that she is going through some tough crap with her stupid abusing ex- b/f. She really needs to read this.But she really needs a good friend to come in to show that that person cares. She just doesn't trust anybody right now, cause everybody really took it hard when them two broke up. Even I was surprised that she had enough guts to even get in his face. She's a real sweet girl. And i think she needs a guys or even somebody that will listen to everything that she has to say. She won't talk to anybody that used to talk to her when she was dating that jerk and she really needs a shoulder. So if you can just talk to her. She's really hurting inside. Even though you can't see it, b/c she hides it very well. I know deep down inside she is hurting really bad. So if you can just talk to her.

But other then that, I think this was a great poem. It shows out who you really are. And we woman need those guys out in the world. Thanks for sharing with us. And Please get in contact with Courtney. I never know what she might do next.
