I snuggle into
your warm embrace
my head resting gently
on your pillow.
You're staring into my eyes
and in the dark lit room
I can see your soul
connecting with mine.
Where did I find you
this angel sent to me?
I searched for many years
and still came up empty.
You came along
with your big beating heart
and you showed me how to love
you showed me how to care.
I can never thank you enough
for being everything I've dreamed of
but it's times like this
where thank you is never enough.
Maybe I'm not perfect
but you accept me anyway
you love me on the inside
as well as out.
You never judge
or blame me for mistakes
you always ask me about my day
before I even can speak a word.
Because of you, I'm a different person
you've made me complete
this is what love is, isn't it?
If so, I welcome it gladly.

This may be love, It may not be also just remember that. You will never know until what you've "thought" you loved is gone, Great write, just saying theres always someone there for you, it doesnt mean your in love.

Actually, this poem was to show how much I AM in love lol. I've been with him for over a year now so yeah, neither of us are going anywhere.

heh I think Branden has taken the cynical look on things! I myself enjoyed this piece, it was a quiet heartfelt write and worthy of praise, remember those moments for they truly are seconds of bliss.

i really like this poem. i'm usually not into the whole love poetry thing, but i can def. relate to this one. it's good not to be cynical and pessimistic. lol. keep up the good work.
