So yet again my thoughts bring me here
Entangled,trapped,confused
My mind wanders, my soul searches

My heart pounds with nervous energy
The door opens, I'm not sure if I'm ready
Ready or not
I face reality

My heart was with you once
Its time to find out again

I sink, I sink within my body

The way you look at me
Your presence calms me
and at the same time breaks my heart

I see you with her, you see me with him
I know what your thinking

It's not right,It's not right

As soon as my nerves start to calm
There you are again
My heart skips a bit, and attempts to jump through the roof

Why is it when I kiss him I see your face
Why is it that you cant leave
I am crazy about you
It isn't right

Reality sinks in
And I'm here without you

I've lost you
I've met him

So a cross road presents itself
And I'm left to decide
Should I just forget you
And maybe swallow my pride

I can't put him through this
I can't lie

Love is waiting for an answer
Yet I hesitate to reply

Love is waiting for an answer
But its so hard to let go

I'm not sure what the big deal is
Because I've already lost you
You've already lost me

So what's left to decide
But my fate that lies ahead
My hearts on the line

As I make this big leap
So I let go of this past
As I embrace this new beginning

I take that chance, and its worth it
Before my heart was drowning
Now I've set it free
I've ended this heart ache

There's no more misery

The past I've learned is always hard to let go of, but as much as you let go, never forget it, for it has taught you many good lessons about what not to do again and what worked. heh now that I'm done being all philisophical, nicely done. I really enjoyed reading this piece it flowed well and showed real honest emotions. good job!

Because of you I laugh a little harder, smile a little more, and cry a little less
