a confession no one knows

my existance is punctuated
with broken hopes and dreams.
everything is nothing
and nothing is everything to me.
a home that soaks up
the hurtful words and actions,
remembers long the things i feel,
it is the only one who seems to care.
this room knows how many nights
ive  come back a wreck from you.
you have turned my pillow into
my private confessional.
it alone hears my true feelings,
it alone feels me cry.
can a pillow really sympathize?
it does better than you, just by being there.
hate and sadness work together
to force out tears, to force out fears.
my mouth turns so dry when i
think about the things you say.
"you dissapoint us so much." and
"you wont grow up to be anything."
do you think i dont hear?
do you think im not affected?
my sleep is disrupsted,
even when i slip into it, restlessness follows.
i only know fears during the day
and realistic nightmares by night.
Are parents supposed to
make their own children sorrowful?

well, I AM SORROW.......

now im alone, but not lonely like before
