Sinking in more than feelings
Knowing you won’t be mine
Maybe if I let you go now
You will come to me in time

My skin feels transparent
You can see inside my soul
My mind full of love for you
And that love left untold

Fear of rejection
Of living with pain
I can’t tell you anything
And it’s driving me insane

Day after day
The unthinkable task
Of letting you know
Of taking off this mask

Everyday I’m disguised
As a friend who is there
You have no idea
How much I really care

What a sweet poem. Normally I don't go for this stuff, but I really enjoyed this one. Keep writing!
