The silence of the room deafens my hearing,
Cold stares without a single glance,
Alone, frightened, and improper,
The lingering nothing continues,
Forever more, it will not change,
Souls, they have none,
Lost to their love of hate,
Eyes glow in the night,
Disturbing what peace is left inside them,
Fear has reigned over the room,
Shadows have covered the future,
Unraveling the past,
Lingering, it will not go,
No one is quite sure why or how,
The hell of life,
Has reigned their fears for all time.

very dark...brooding almost...very well done, I liked it a lot. The imagery gave me a kind of tingle in the soul feeling and I felt the need to glance around the room for and shadows that might be lurking about...also got a sense of despair but I could be wrong. All in all hauntingly beautiful piece.

Wow Jess, I liked this a lot. Especially this line "The lingering nothing continues"
The line just stuck out to me, idk why...Anyways, good job.
