well im not sure if im allowed to do this, but this is more of a song than a poem. it has poetic descriptions like my other poems though. i'll see if i can get away with this. oh wrote it for a girl and i play it on my old nylon string acoustic.

Stealing November's Air

This November air stings our lungs,
But our mouths are still so warm.
Our eyes are burning
From the yearnings so strong.
The biting air threatens
Our speech at times.
Does this concern us?
You say "Not tonight."

Who needs coats
When our bodies are so warm?
And gloves and scarfs
Only get in our way.
I'm keeping my hands with you.
You're keeping your heart with me,
And that's the way we like it,
So that's the way it stays.

Chorus:
Cold lips pressed together
Are warmed only by each other.
Just anotyher night in cold November rain.
Old lines to one another,
Refreshed by stares of another,
But it doesn't even matter to you.

Bridge:
So here we are alone in the dark
Slowly moving, but not too far,
And it doesn't matter at all.
There you are afraid of this hand,
But don't we all crawl before we stand?
And it doesn't matter at all.
So lost for this first time,
Together for this time,
Alone for the last time,
Goodnight for the first time.

This is amazing, I am in total awe of the way in which you express your self in your writing... this poem is no exception...I love how you make me understand exactly what is going on-keep up the amazing work!
