The emotions, Fade into nothing. A numb feeling. Like a winter coldness, Crept into my room, Entered my head, Making me no longer, Feel. Care. Why should I? I know you don’t. Maybe...no one does. So...why should I? Trapped inside, This icy terrain, I can’t breathe. I can’t think. Good. Knowing what’s going on around me, I don’t want to think. I don’t want to cross that line, That will send me into the drama. I don’t need that. Falling. Deeper into the freeze. So cold... That numbing feeling comes back, I welcome it. I soak up all the pain, and accept it in silence~DMX |
