I’m not so sure
If winter bodes well for me this year
Because I get so wrapped up in
The cold air and
The way you look
As you try to keep warm.
And I find myself
Crying over melodies
Because they move so perfectly
Like your silhouette against the cold streetlight.
There is nothing quite as perfect
As your breath in the frozen night air.
I’m not so sure
If winter bodes well for me this year
Because I get so wrapped up in
The cold air and
The way my hands
Cannot keep themselves warm.
