Drifting away from the world we know, Is an angel….An unstoppable girl. Her fate she’ll bring upon herself, As her tears fall, her soul wares away. Shall we meet again? Its not the end, Doesn’t she her beauty within… She torments herself on the image she sees, While she engraves her pain and hatred into her skin. Every once important thing to her, Doesn’t mean a thing…who’s done this to my angel? She bows her head in shame, She only sees one way out, and she tries to grasp it… Manipulated by jealousy from others, That’s all she’s even known…. She contains hatred for them… Never did it escape…until now. Each drop that falls to the ground opens a door, Torn……her wings are gone, mere mortal she seems to be. My angel was brave, even in her last breathe.. Life, raped of the memories of those she held dear. We don’t see her….but I feel her presence. nice work of putting depression into words..... especially like the last lines.... 'no she's the one inside us / the one looking out.... trying to save you and me.' nice words.... keep the writing up this is me.... like it or not.... |
