Terrorist

Imagine somewhere
a boy cries.
in pain, and
frustration
Blood gushes from
his mouth in the form
of some vulgarity only
he understands
THe pain turns to
hatred
and a new generation of
bloodshed is formed.

I liked this. It actually had something meaningful to say, as opposed to the "I got dumped, how tragic" I keep finding here. Nice imagery used. Thumbs up, etc.

Hey, getting dimped is tragic!!! hehe. No, but really i like this poem. Very meaningful, and as much as i ---- to say, it is nice to see something, that is NOT about love, or as you so lightly say, "getting dumped" !!! hehe. lol. Awesome poem!

It is good, I don't understand why lost palistinian thinks it is being directed towards muslims?? it's just expressing an emotion about terrorism.. thats all. I liked it, another of the best on this forum.

Great poem. Very visual. Just a comment, but i think everyone is being open and not judging and everything but its hard NOT to judge a terrorist.

If my poems could talk they would mean more than the words

yeah. touchdown (hate to use an australian idol reference.. *shudders*)

anyways yeah top stuff. terrorism is getting everywhere... into the minds of everyone... even onto this forum, shock horror, but it has a place in the way that we express ourselves, better out than in...

as salaam alaikum,

(just dropping into the teen forums for a change of pace )

firstly, i think this is a great poem, nicely written with a good message.
secondly, in defense of sweet lost palestinian, i too am muslim, though american.  so much hate and anger are directed at us in general, in so many forms that it is hard not to get defensive when you see the word "terrorist".  we, true muslims, are just the opposite, and the actions of a few cannot condemn an entire, wonderful religion. (which i think in a sense this poem conveys...)

anyway, great poem, i will be sure to read you in the future =)
wa salaam..

as muslimah touches on,,,this poem was not a slap at muslims, palestiniens, smurfs, nor any race, creed, religion, etc.....
It was a well written piece, about how feelings can turn to rage and hate,
