We loved each other so much But isn’t it always like that in the beginning? Told me that I was your life That you could have died for me Then I broke up with you Thought that I stopped loving you But no, you got it all wrong Think that after all we were not meant to be Everyone seemed to oppose our love Trust me, I made the good choice by letting you go But the love was still there You messed everything The next day you were in the arms of another girl Like I never did exist You told me hurting words Months have passed now and you have finally realized That you still love me That the love was still there Try to make me fall again But it is difficult to fall a second time When you haven’t catch me the first time And the words you told me The way you act, Oh, no they were so painful Even though I love you Can’t forget them so easily And everyone still seem to oppose our love The love that was never meant to be |
