Standing In Silence...

0 posted 2003-11-12 08:30 PM

I’m sorry (sorry).
For everything that’s happened
I’m sorry (sorry).
Wishing I could take it all back...
But knowing I can’t...
I’m sorry (sorry).
Haunting me in my sleep,
Dragging me down in my dreams,
Making it worse…than it seems.
I’m sorry (sorry).
All that we have been through,
All the arguments, tears, agony,
It has brought us nowhere,
And given us nothing,
Except the pain we now share.
I’m sorry (sorry).

I soak up all the pain, and accept it in silence~DMX

Good poem...
It seems good for the lyrics of a song

This was a good poem and I have to say that it does sound a lot like a song.  Have you ever thought about putting it to music?  That would be a great song.  Good write!
