i can't stop hiding

I look at myself
from eyes across the room
masked my darkness
and casting out gloom

stopping time
as if it weren’t there
snatching my thoughts
thought the stale smoky air

listing a loud
but won't answer me
the thoughts in his hart
he'll never let me see

he's always there
he never goes away
I can't find help
and I don't know what to say

when you live you begin to die
when you die memories of you life lives in others
when memories of you begin to fade
you truly begin to die

I liked this, really. It just came across to me as timid. The idea was cool and all but it was drwoned out by lack of intensity. Although, it was a good piece.
