Im in such agony
rip this life from me
tear these last shreds of happiness from my hands,
...and let me float away.

Let me have a few more tears to cry
for past mistakes and betrayals
for the present's endless hurt
and for an empty future,
...then let me float away.

Let me have a few more "I love you's whispered
to those who already know, I'll remind them once again
to those who don't, they should know
and to him I could have loved the most, I will tell him so,
...then let me float away.

I'll lift off slowly from the ground
and lay flat on my back upon the air
with my arms floating at my sides
and the wind in my hair.

I'll smile softly
and close my eyes
and leave my problems behind.

I don't think this one is as good as some of my others, but I decided to post it anyway.

W.W.
We were meant to live for so much more have we lost ourselves?
Maybe redemption has stories to tell maybe forgiveness is right where you fell.
