Hi this is the first time I have shared one of my poems with any one, mind you I only started writing a couple of months ago so I'm sorry if it's a bit rough on the edges.

Now I stand alone, weapon slung
The wind blows through my fingers as I feel the sodden cloths I bear
I am not part of this war.
My eyes dance through the stars like a bee searching for its flower, but I too search, search for the eyes I fell upon so long ago, for such equal beauty can only be found in the skies above.
In my bed I find no rest the stars no more your eyes no more, my hands cover my face I read my lines and ache, where are you now my love.

Welcome to Pip!!! I hope you enjoy it.

Your poem was absolutely beautiful. You said you only started writing a few months ago? Well, you write very beautifully. I can tell that you have a lot of passion for writing...because I felt the entire poem the whole way through. This will definitely be going into my library. Keep writing and keep posting! Nice work! I hope to be reading some of your work soon!

So much for being new at this, if you wouldn't have said so, I wouldn't have known. I really liked the begining, this poem tells a beautiful story. Your so delicate with your words. Keep it up and further amaze.
Welcome...
